Live Edge Frame Mosaic Hummingbird with Cindy Laneville - Tues, Jun 11, 2024

Stained Glass Stuff is happy to present this Live Edge Frame workshop taught by special guest instructor and local artist Cindy Laneville!

Each participant will receive their very own one-of-a-kind Live Edge frame. No two frames are alike, offering a distinct height range from 17" to 18", width of 8" to 9", and a glass surface area approximately 11 1/2" high by 4" wide. You will create an intricate mosaic of a hummingbird on the glass insert using stained glass. The day will focus on the glasswork (learning techniques to cut the glass, and to position and glue the pieces). You will not be grouting in this class but will be provided with instructions. Some experience with glass recommended.

All supplies, including glass, wood base, and grouting supplies, will be provided. We will also provide safety glasses and cutting tools for your use in class (but you can bring your own if you are more comfortable with that).

The class is 10:00-4:30, with a break for lunch. You may bring your own lunch (we have a fridge and microwave) or there is a great deli next door.
