Come visit us in our 3rd location! In our new shop, at 911 Richmond Road (Unit 9), just down the way from our previous location. The decor is really snazzy with ceramic tile, marble counters and the regal ambience of a purple room with French doors.

The Origins of SGS

Stained Glass Stuff began as a small retail studio in Westboro in 1987. At first, there was only David and Hagar, the golden retriever. Later Hagar was replaced by Hugo, a bigger, louder golden retriever. The store moved next door to a larger location in 1994, about the same time Misha, a Great Pyrennes, arrived. Kevin started working in the store in 1995. Chris has been doing the classes since 1993. Now located a little farther down Richmond Road, the future looks bright for stained glass in the west end of Ottawa. Little Kitty learned at the feet of the master and now has full run of the store. Over the years, dogs, cats, and store locations, Stained Glass Stuff's goal has always been to be a friendly little studio for the stained glass hobbyist.

For those of you who have to drag a bored or reluctant spouse into our store with you when you want to go shopping for stained glass goodies, we have created a 'Spouse Lounge' just for them. Your spouse can hang up their jacket or hat, sit comfortably in one our relaxing chairs, and read through a wide variety of magazines. If you have some recent magazines you don't need anymore, please consider dropping them off here for somebody else to read.
