Kent Lauer Classes

Stained Glass Stuff is pleased to announce that Kent Lauer will be teaching a series of classes here in November of 2008. Kent is a Master Beveller with 30 years experience coldworking. This will be his first time teaching up here in Canada. His classes are among the first to fill up at Glass Craft & Bead Expo in Las Vegas every spring. Each student will have access to their own 12" ASW Lap Wheel for the duration of the class.

Learn how to laminate 3/4" thick Starphire float glass together with a thin sheet of CBS Dichroic in the middle, and then saw and coldwork it into a magnificent shimmering work of art. The One day class will make some small pieces as pendants, while the Two day class will make a larger sculptural piece, as well as some smaller custom bevels as practice, as time permits.

The 12" ASW Lap Wheels will be available for sale after the last class. If you would like to reserve one, please contact Kevin before the class starts.
