Stained Glass Stuff is proud to announce that we will be hosting two very special three day Advanced Fusing Techniques workshops taught by world famous warm glass artist Patty Gray. The first class will be on Thursday March 6th to Saturday March 8th. The second workshop, which will be open only to those who have attended a previous workshop with Patty, will be from Sunday, March 9th to Tuesday, March 11th. This will be a more advanced level workshop.
Patty was gracious enough to agree to return to Eastern Canada to teach. Space is limited to 10 people, so book time off work now and reserve your spot. The workshop fee is $600.00 Canadian dollars, all taxes, lunch and materials included. Some of the projects she will be teaching will be combing, using a Vitrograph, making murrini bars with the Glory Hole, using Glassline paints, coldworking, thick casting, frit cookies, stringer plates, and more. Check out her personal website to see the beautiful art that she creates with glass:
Patty’s classes in Las Vegas fill up in a few hours. Her 2 classes at Hot Glass Horizons Portland in October are both full. As there is no Hot Glass Horizons this spring in Corning, New York, this is your only chance to work with her for a long time. If you are traveling from out of town, contact us and we can recommend local accommodations.
A deposit of $100.00 will secure your spot in this class. A second deposit of $100 is due on November 1st, and the balance is due by February 15th, 2008. We will be taking names for a waiting list in the event we have any cancellations.
