The Came Bender is great for bending zinc, brass or copper cames. It doesn't crimp the came when bending it. You do need to screw it down to a table top before using it. It also requires a lot of space behind the body of the bender once you've started, as it curls around. Start with a slight bend at first, and then go back and forth a few times, tightening the radius up more each time, until you have the curvature you want. If you go too far, you can try to straighten it out by hand or run it back through the bender backwards.
If you make a lot of circular panels and want a stronger reinforcement border channel than lead came, this is the only way to do it. If you bring in your panel to us, we can bend for you using our came bender, for a small charge.
