The Soldering Iron
There is only one iron, the Weller 100. It is a 100W iron with a 700 degree, 3/8" wide tip. All that means is that the iron, once warmed up, will stay at 700 degrees, allowing you to melt your solder onto your copper foil lines in one neat, even smooth line, with practice, of course. There are 600, 800, and 900 degree tips as options, as well as 4 slightly narrower width tips.
If you do every have a problem with your Weller 100, bring it in to let us take a look at it. If it's beyond something simple that we can fix, the best thing for you to do is ship it off to Weller's repair depot. The address is:

They wil fix it for free if it is still under warranty, and if it is older, they will charge about $30 for the repair, depending on what has to be done.
