Lead Vise
This is a must-have for those who do a lot of work with lead came. It is a spring loaded vise that should be screwed permanently into place to work best. Just lift up the top piece, put one end of the lead came into the vise mouth, close the vise, make sure the lead came has not been twisted around in a 360 degree rotation, grab with a pair of pliers at the far end, and slowly stretch out until it is straight and true again. Lead came will always have to be stretched before using, even if it seems straight.
