'L' Cutting Guide-12"/18"/24" OR 36"
This is another very cheap gizmo that not a lot of people seem not to be aware of. It is about a 1/4" thick so your cutter will not ride up and over it during use. There is a raised lip on both sides so it can catch on the edge of your glass sheet, and give you a 90 degree score. We now install a cork strip along both sides so it can also be used to cut a straight line that is not at 90 degree angle without sliding on the glass.
A lot of people tend to use the same steel ruler that they have been using for measuring, but it can ruin your expensive cutter. The steel rulers are so thin that your cutter can ride up and over the steel ruler, damaging your cutter wheel.
