This device is designed to punch out a 90 degree 'V' in a length of 3mm or 1/8" brass U came, so you can then bend the came up into a perfect 90 right angle. You can adjust the plates at the front to use this tool on narrower or wider came by switching the number of plates. If you are going to be making a lot of picture frames, framing small pieces, this tool will save you a lot of time and trouble.
