Stained Glass Stuff is proud to announce that Master Beveller Kent Lauer, from California, will be teaching a series of workshops here in November. The only class that is still open at this time is on Thursday, November 13th, Faceted Dichroic Pendants. This class is $295, which includes all taxes, a hot lunch, and materials. Each student will have access to a 12" lap wheel for the duration of the class. Kent's 2 day Faceted Dichroic Sculpture class is full, but we do have a waiting list for it. The Lap Wheels will be for sale after the weekend class. If you are interested in getting one, please contact us.
Patty Gray has also agreed to return to Ottawa for another series of Advanced Fusing Technique workshops, but at the time of publishing this, the exact dates have yet to be finalized. The original dates we had posted for classes in March 2009 have been changed to April 2009. Patty realized it made more sense to go to Arizona in early March, and Ottawa in mid April, than the reverse, after what happened last year. Something about 13 feet of snow, and having to borrow somebody's snowmobiling boots just to walk to a parked car 7 feet away. We will send out a special email and post the new dates on our website when they are confirmed.
