NEW Direction for Stained Glass Stuff

The much anticipated end of the world did not come on December 31, 1999. Instead of starting the new year off with a Bang, it ended up being more of a whimper.

David, much like the groundhog, emerged from his New Years Bunker and still saw his shadow. He has decided to take S.G.S. in a new direction. Stained Glass Stuff will be renamed SGS.com. There will be an IPO offered on April 1, 2000 to subscribers of MORE STUFF, and then to the general public. Initial share price will be $95.00 U.S.* With this offering SGS.com will be moving to a new 10,000 Sq. Ft. studio / retail showroom at 1001 Palladium Drive, right beside the Corel Center in Kanata.*

The new location will be open April 1, 2000. One of the new features will be rotating internal search lights to illuminate the millions of square feet of glass that will be in stock.*

A new glass blowing area will open in June 2000, with a week long internship offered. This new facility will also feature an onsite STARBUCKS COFFEE, PIZZA HUT , VIDEO ARCADE AND DOG GROOMING SALOON. All of these additions should add more character to the place and make for a pleasant glass shopping atmosphere.*

The Move to Kanata has brought about an interesting benefit for the store. Our new MicroSoftly Patron has requested that all the PlexiGlass panels that surround the hockey rink in the Corel Center be replaced with Stained Glass Mural-like panels that reflect the great Canadian Hockey Heritage that this country has. This is a great Job for the store and it will surely test the design talents of David and Kevin.*
