WINNER: We Have a WINNER

The winner of our winter 2000 contest was Shawn Dunlop, with a guess of 114 pounds. Misha in fact weighs in at 113.9 pounds. Congratulations to Shawn, who spent his $50 Gift certificate very quickly on some nice art glass. Thanks to all for entering. Reading off the guesses was sometimes quite funny. The low guess was 67 pounds, while the heaviest guess was 250 pounds, by three different people! She's not that fat! (YET)

This Issue's CONTEST

A long time ago, our favorite Stained Glass Hero, the one and only Louis Comfort Tiffany , was booked to travel across the Atlantic on a ship. He however canceled because he did not like the ship in question's à la carte dinner menu. Guess which Ship?

All correct entries will be placed in Misha's food dish and she will pick the winner. THE PRIZE WILL BE a copy of "Louis Comfort Tiffany at the Metropolitan Museum of Art" or "Masterworks of Louis Comfort Tiffany" (hardcover) ($40 retail value). These books cover much of the history of Tiffany's work, the different mediums he worked in, and photos of his work.
