How To Repair Stained Glass Demonstration Day

Saturday, April 16th, all day. Drop by with your damaged stained glass project, and we will teach you how to repair it.

Once upon a time, there was a secret agent that worked for the government. He was very good at his job. He was well trained and had the technical resources of the entire government at his disposal to assist him. Even though he was an excellent secret agent, he wasn't very good around the house.

One day, when he wasn't off saving the world, his wife asked him to clean the fabulous original Tiffany stained glass lamp that was hanging in their kitchen.

'No problem' said Mr. Secret Agent Man, 'I can do that' He turned off the breaker switch to the lamp, got out a ladder and the tools he needed, and proceeded to unhook the lamp from the ceiling. He carefully lowered the lamp, using all of his special training, treating it as carefully as he would a plutonium reactor core.

Once he was down off the ladder with the lamp, he opened the dishwasher and took out the top rack, and placed the lamp on the lower rack. He filled the dispenser with dishwasher soap, closed the door, and turned it on.

He went and relaxed on the couch, and watched a little golf on TV. When the dishwasher finished, he opened it up and took the lamp out. It was shiny and clean! He climbed the ladder, hooked it back up, and turned the power back on. Perfect!

His wife came home from shopping, and walked into the kitchen and saw the lamp. "Wow, what a clean lamp! How did you get it so clean?" With pride, he answered, "Well, I just put it in the dishwasher."

And that's how Mr. Secret Agent ended up sleeping on the couch that night.

The End.

(This is a true story, not one of our April Fools' Jokes!. Not the secret agent part, but the lamp in the dishwasher part, Ernesto really did do that!)
