Sort-Of Extreme Makeover!

Our website will be undergoing a face lift over the summer, as it has grown rather organically over the last 6 years. It is time we give it a new look. If you have anything bookmarked and it disappears, please contact us and we will let you know where that page went. We are now just finishing updating all of our Warm Stuff webpages, so check them out for everything Warm Glass related.

Stained Glass Tip

When you are soldering together a flat stained glass panel with a lot of bevels, globs, jewels, fused details, anything that is thicker than 3mm and sticks up, place an old towel or blanket underneath your panel when soldering the back side. The towel will absorb the raised details and equally support the rest of the panel, as well as protecting the raised details from scratches.

Use a wide, soft denture brush, to help clean your work after soldering, and when buffing off the polishing compound. Thanks to Bob S. for the tip.
