Fall 2000 Contest

Well, the results from our Ink-blot test are in, and the results are disturbing. 27% of the people who entered had to be referred to the RO hospital for further tests and long-term study. The rest of you had wonderfully descriptive answers, making us see all kinds of things.

There were lots of entries, (Kevin did not tell me how many) and the winning entry was from PAT HAYES who wrote they saw:

The doorway to Hades with a ghoul on the left and a skull on the right. Through the doorway is the souls mingling and trying to escape" in the Uroboros sheet of glass.

It is hers to keep! Congratulations!

PS It's a good thing that this glass was not around in the sixties! Can you imagine the damage it could do??

New Contest

How many hours of sleep will Kevin get in December?

If you calculate 7.5 hours per night normally, with 31 nights, that would be 232.5 hours. Factor in a newborn baby, and let that number fall! The winning guess will receive 1 year's worth of diaper services! Just kidding! The Prize will be 2 Tickets to a Sens Game in the New Year.

CONTEST Number Three

You may or may not know that our little wild kingdom at the store has a new addition. Misha has a new playmate, a small little kitty whose name is as yet unknown. Kevin (Kim) would not let us have a name the baby contest, (even after hours of begging) so we have to settle for name the kitty contest.

Our new little furball can usually be found sleeping on Misha or on the glass cutting table, when David is not carrying her around to show the neighbours.

So help us out, NAME the Cat! Drop off your best name at the store. The winner will get some neat glass stuff and the honour of visiting the little critter when you come into the store. Look for the results in the next issue.
