David and Kevin's Excellent Adventure

Have you ever heard the old saying "be careful what you ask for or you might get it" Well, in the spring issue we made a April Fools' joke about moving to Kanata beside the Corel Centre. Well, no sooner than that issue hit the presses, it just so happened that we were going to be moving for real. So we send out a special May issue, letting everybody know that we would be moving, honest! David now had to find us new store. There were a couple of options but as you will agree our new home is much nicer than the old place with a great many improvements: a large, free parking lot, the wonderful decor, (we did not paint it, it came that way!), the lamp / bevel room with the french doors, ceramic tile entryway, marble trimmed planter and front ledge, and lots of windows to let in the light!

There are, of course, a few things that we will miss about the old place, like the green mold growing in the back hall, the superb washroom, the gurgling pipes, and for you students the heavy metal band in the basement most nights.

Generally we feel the move has been a positive one , with the exception of the the sore back and bruises that Kevin and I got as a result of having to lug all the stuff we did not sell down the street. We would also like to thank everyone who took advantage of our moving sale and stocked up for the summer. We thank you for the stuff we did not have to carry.

However it has been decided not to temp fate anymore and there will be no more humor of questionable taste placed into this publication. It will be from now on, in REALLY BAD TASTE, but approved by the appropriate authorities.

It's a new century now and as I get older it gets harder and harder to get my brain to work the way I want it to so I am gonna go with what I know, I will not pretend anymore!
