Spring Contest Results

Well, due to way the 2001 NHL play offs unfolded (this item apparently makes reference to last year's hockey season, something which Kevin appears to have an interest in; however, it is something that I know nothing about), our Spring Contest went over like a Lead Balloon.

But the Colorado AV's did win a Tin cup of some kind. Marie R. guessed that they would, and she picked up a box of White Diamond Crete and a 14" round mould for her efforts. Congratulations Marie!

Fall Contest

The results of this contest will be published in the Christmas newsletter. This time we are going to replay a contest that we used about a year ago.

You all remember Misha the store Dog that regrettably passed away last spring. Misha did, however, leave us with an adopted offspring, named imaginatively enough KITTY. It appears that our Fearless leader did not like any of the names from the "name the cat" contest, so this one stuck.

Said Kitty does not really resemble her mother in any way except for one. Size and sleeping habits.

So we would like you to guess to the nearest ounce, just how much kitty weighs.

In this case you can pick up Kitty, provided he is in a good mood and you can catch him.

The prize will be Kitty's weight in either 60/40 or 50/ 50 solder.

Draw date will be Oct. 31/2001 - costumes optional.
