SPECIAL GRAND OPENING PARTY

You know David really grumbles about these things but he must like them because he is the one that keeps setting them up. Soooooooooooooo ...

Come on down Saturday September 13, 2003, and take part in our special grand - opening of our new space.

There will be an all day party with party like food, party like door prizes and party like SPECIAL ONE DAY SUPER DEALS! There will hopefully be a special guest We are waiting to hear from the ever popular Bead maker Paul Reid.

Chris Van Zanten will also be there to show off and explain some of his new HOT GLASS ITEMS. In person you will also be able to see the new bevel display cases that have had designed to display all the bevels we have and a few that haven't been invented yet .This new case could make your bevel selection process easier. For the bead makers we have a new Moretti Rod display case , with a much expanded selection of colours.

Our Summer Hours will end after Labour day. Saturday hours of 9:30am to 4:30pm will come into effect.

The summer holidays are over and the kids are back in school. It's time to get out your tools and supplies to start your fall and Christmas stained glass projects. This summer our likeable landlord and his band of merry Italian workershave transformed our cute little shop into a cute huge shop. We now have lots more space for classes, demonstrations, and display of the ever increasing choice of stained glass stuff. The most noticeable change will be the Warm Glass area with our new lineup of kilns and other fusing equipment. We look forward to seeing you, our valued customers, both new and old. And remember, good doggies are always welcome here to play with us and little kitty.

So drop on by on Sept. 13, Saturday when we unveil our new monster work space. This new area will be home to new kilns for fusing, a bead making area with permanent torch set up, new grinders stations , work stations, drop down direct wired soldering stations and a large wash area. In addition to all this there will be new student storage as well.

This new work area will allow for more , less crowded classes and for more Saturday special classes. Most importantly is the addition of a coffee machine.

Your questions of "Where did all this space come from?" " Did we move? " are valid, but "no" we did not move. It seems that there has been a large underused area directly behind us. That after years of begging, crying and other noteworthy negotiation tactics, our Landlord has agreed to let us have.
