Bead Making Demo

Saturday April 12th, we are pleased to announce the return of Mr. Paul Ried, Carp's resident bead maker.

After his appearance at our customer appreciation night the positive response for a return visit has been overwhelming.

Paul will be demonstrating the FIREWORKS HOT HEAT torch and using some of the new color Morreitti Rods in stock to produce many new and interesting color combinations for some really mind blowing beads.

So drop in with a coffee and watch a master at work.

Circle Cutters! (Inland Strip / Circle Cutter)

This item may not be known by all glass workers, but it is useful if you are doing a lot of round work. Some can also be used as a straight edge cutter as well.

We sell a couple of different types of circle cutters. This month's feature is the inland strip and circle cutter.

The use of this item has really taken off as kiln work, i.e. Slumping and fusing, has become more and more popular.

Since the basic shape of a bowl or plate is round and the smoothness of the finished edge is very important in the fusing process, this item is becoming one of the main fusing tools.
