Another year has almost ended. It started with a thick blanket of snow. It is ending with much balmier weather conditions (so far), but with queasy economic waves. To calm yourself down, turn off the news, don't read the business section of the paper, and go to your studio and make stuff for your family and friends this season out of glass. They will be honoured to receive a gift that wasn't mass produced in a cave overseas, but by you from your home. To invest your precious time in creating art is an investment in your mental well being. Drop by our relaxing studio, smell the fresh bread baking, and let us help you focus on your craftsmanship. Just don't fall asleep while you're here, we'd hate to lock you in overnight accidently. Glass is forever, unless Uncle Bob sits down on it, then it's toast.
Given the cherry economic outlook these days, we here at Stained Glass Stuff are always looking at ways of streamlining our business, and our employees as well.(no more cookies would be a good start!) One recent suggestion was to check with all of the people on our extensive mailing list to see if they still want to receive our newsletter. So, this is your first and only official notice. Please contact us by any means available to you to confirm with us that you want to continue to get More Stuff by mail. We will be deleting all the names off our mailing list who have not responded to us by the time our next newsletter comes out in the Spring of 2009. This should save a few forests. We do offer an email version of More Stuff, should you prefer. If you sign up for it, we also send out frequent New Stuff emails, and notifications of when Stained Glass News and The Score arrive here.
