The snow is finally almost completely melted from our parking lot. Which is a good thing as we just got in a huge delivery of lots of new goodies to tell you about. Our Garage Sale last weekend was a very successful event. Tons of great deals were to be found, and the store is a neater, cleaner place as a result. We have extended the Garage Sale prices on a few items, such as 2.5" blown rondels for $5 each, in 5 different colours, all Off-Cuts, $1 per square foot, and back issues of Glass Art magazine for $1 each. There are a few more, but you'll have to come down to find them.

Tim will be conducting our Spring Tool Tune up this Saturday, all day long. Bring in your grinder, cutter, pliers, or saws for a little bit of TLC before you consider putting them down for the summer. There is no charge for this service, we just want your tools to be at their best.

On Sunday, April 27th, from 12 to 5, is our Third Annual Glassblowing open house at Chris Van Zanten's studio up in Pakenham. He will be demonstrating various glass blowing techniques, pull some cane, and will attempt a Roll Up. Try making your own glass ball or paperweight for only $50.

Due to overwhelming demand, we have added an extra Fusing 101 Class, on Saturday, June 14th and 21st, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. The all inclusive class fee is $95. The class is limited to 8 people, but is filling up fast. Don't wait until the fall to take this class!

Kevin did find a few new things in Las Vegas that you might want a look at. Dichro-Slide Frit, Windows of Character & Style, a 8 pronged combing tool, and lots of new glass, which are listed below.
