Just a few quick things to remind you about. This Sunday, April 27th, from 12pm to 5pm, is our Third Annual Glassblowing open house at Chris Van Zanten's studio up in Pakenham. He will be demonstrating various glass blowing techniques, like how to make a ball, rondel, paperweight and bird feeder.

He will also show how to pull cane, and will try to make a Roll Up. A Roll Up is taking a 3/8" thick fused rectangular plate, preheating it in a kiln, and then picking it up on the end of the punty rod, and rolling it into a cylinder, creating a tall vase shape. You can make your own glass ball or paperweight for only $50. The finished pieces will be available for pick up here at Stained Glass Stuff the following week. Light refreshments will be served.

Our Spring Sale is on for only a few more days. Wednesday, April 30th is the final day. Stock up for the summer up at the cottage!
