Our little road trip is starting to fill up. If you are at all interested in expanding your warm glass abilities and have a great weekend learning from the best. Hot Glass Horizons will be in Corning, N.Y. this year on April 21st to 23rd. It is a 3 day conference of 14 of the top warm and hot glass talents from North America. You get to select which classes you want to take, and they can be 1,2, or 3 day classes. Our plan is to leave on Wednesday April 20th in around noon, with about a 5.5 hour drive to Corning, and return Sunday, April 24th. If you are interested, please contact Kevin ASAP. Our preliminary number crunching gives us a travel cost of about $1250 per person, and that includes the Course Fee, hotel, van rental, and gas, based on 4 people going. If we can fill a van with up to 7 people, the costs would come down. Dinner is included on Thursday and Saturday nights of the course, and a Wine & Cheese reception on Wednesday night. Check out their website for more details: www.hotglasshorizons.com
If you are interested, please let us know so we can co-ordinate everything now and get everyone into the courses they want. We have until the end of February to commit to this trip before HGH will be booked solid.

The long sad story of the GST Damselfly Bevel Clusters that were done wrong is about to end. If you hadn't heard the story, somebody mis-read the instructions on GST's Damselfly bevel clusters, and instead of making them with coloured bodies and clear wings, they were made ALL coloured! Oops! Anyways, there was a warehouse full of them somewhere, and they were being sold off at about half the price of the properly made ones. And now they are almost all gone. We scooped up a few more in each colour, Blue, Yellow Green or Amethyst, 2 Damselflies per box, 6 pieces per Damselfly, $25.95 each and when these are gone, that's it. Back to the regular style at the regular price. So, if you like these, and we sure do, come and get then while you still can!
