Don't try coming by today, with this lovely weather. Make plans later in the week to drop by and see the latest pile of new stuff. There is something for everybody here! Many books which we had given up on have re-appeared, and several are now at much lower prices! The Spectrum Rack Packs have been re-filled, and there are lots of unusual colours and textures in this latest batch.
As you may have noticed if you visited us in the last 2 weeks, the store was broken into and robbed at some point during the night of January 27th. Our cash box was taken, but nothing else was missing or damaged. The police believe that a drug addict was the perp, given that only the cash was taken. Unfortunately, in our cash box was all of our January sales receipts from our credit card machine. We realized later on that our machine printed off the entire number and expiry date of the card being used. We contacted the credit card companies and informed them of this. We have replaced that machine with a new one that does not print out the entire number or expiry date. If you used a credit card at our store in January, we ask that you review your statement for any irregular charges. Given what had happened, the police did not think it would be a problem, but we just wanted our customers to be aware of this.
We will be working with our landlord to improve lighting and install a security camera system in the mall. Inside the store, we will be installing our own version of 'The Dangling Sword of Damocles'. There will be a bucket of Croco shards suspended over the door, waiting for the next rocket scientist who breaks in. Just kidding.
