New Book

Glass-A-Holic: 60 full-size patterns of a wide variety of subjects. This book was done by a local glass artist, from Belleville, Ontario.

New Tool

There is a new foiler on the market. The Diegel Foiler is now avaiable, and sounds great, but untill we see one and try it out, the jury is out on it. It is quite a bit more expensive that the Glastar or Inland ones currently on the market.

Industry News

Glastar has announced that their SuperStar II and DiamondStar grinders will be equipped with a new adapter on the white plastic grinding platform that is removable to allow the use of a 1" grinder bit. These grinders should start showing up here shortly.

We sent the boss away for a vacation after the holidays, and he came back with goodies for us. EDCO foil is what he brought, and it is the greatest silver backed foil there is. It's a little more expensive than VentureTape, but it is softer and more forgiving around tight corners. He got some in 3/16", 7/32" and 1/4". We will try to stock it more regularly in the future, as people have been asking for it .
