Our gigantic truck order finally arrived, with tons of new stuff on it. We would like to thank to the Verbena Queen for orchestrating this massive undertaking. Please go this over on your coffee break, as there is a lot to read about. We got in so many new Spectrum Rack Packs, Yogi Little Braves, and Kokomo Ponys that the crates are overflowing with glass.

Our Fall 2009 lessons are now up on our website. We will be offering an early Tuesday night Beginner class, starting August 4th. See the complete line up of Beginner and Intermediate Stained Glass, Fusing, Bead-Making, and Lead Came classes.

Golf Tournament!

Stained Glass Stuff's Second annual Charity Golf Tournament will be held on Thursday, August 13th, starting at 1pm, at the Pakenham Highlands Golf Course. Entry Fee is $150 per golfer, which includes 18 holes, power cart, dinner, and the chance to will $5000 at a Hole-In-One contest.

Our fleet of kilns has been increased with the addition of a Skutt GM1414, with the lid lifter. A very nice feature is that when you go to close the lid after it has been propped open, you merely have to lift it a little more, and special clips close over the gaps in the support arms, allowing it to close smoothly and effortlessly. And it is on a stand with wheels! Just watch out for the wet spots in front of it, somebody's been drooling a little too much.

We recently hand picked 5 sheets of Uroboros Uncat glass. We got one UnCat 3 at $10.95 per square foot , three UnCat 5's at $13.95 per square foot, and one UnCat Collage at $17.95 per square foot. These are unique, one of a kind sheets. In our experiences, the UnCat 5's and Collages have been System 96 compatible. Do a small test fire first to make sure.
