Not much going on today, except for the giant pile of glass and supplies we are unloading. If you are interested, we have a bunch of empty wooden glass crates and pallets free to the first person who gets back to us. We can hold them until the weekend for you.
If you haven't heard the latest gossip around the watercooler, Weller Tools has ceased production of their Weller 100 soldering iron due to "safety" issues. We have taken action to ensure that we will have a supply of high quality soldering irons going forward, and have become a distributor for American Hakko Products. They have a quality lineup of Japanese made soldering irons and accessories, which we now have in stock. We were playing with the 456 model over the last few weeks, and have been very impressed with it. It is a 63 watt iron, but the tip goes up to 1100 degrees. It works very fast!
