Only 5 months until Christmas! Thanks to everybody who bought tickets for the Children At Risk Raffle. The draw was held at their annual picnic at Brewer Park on Sunday June 26th, and a couple of people who bought tickets here won some great prizes.

Glowing Panes Chicago Architecture and Stained Glass Tour, September 10-13, 2005

We have a pile of good sized sheets of glass from a collection, mostly about 2 to 3 square feet in size. The glass is Spectrum from the early 1980's. Some of the colours and textures don't exist anymore.

Teddy Bear Teddy Bear, by Jillian Sawyer, $27.95, 56 pages. An unusual subject choice from this prolific book designer, but very well done just like all her books.

Glass Patterns Quarterly Summer 2005, Vol.21, No.2, $7.50 Glass Art, July/August 2005, $7.50.

Glory Boy, by Ted Goddden, $ 24.95, 38 pages. From the 'And now for something completely different' department, this is a beautiful story book with stained glass illustrations.

Favorite Myths & Legends in stained glass, by Leslie Gibbs & Laura Tayne, $21.95, 36 pages. Mostly Greek legends, very well done, but they do require enlarging. Lots of optional extra details and instructions.

Sparkling Sound, by Linda Russell Whitcomb, $ 23.95, 36 pages. A book on how to make fused glass windchimes and mobiles. Lots of picture instructions to assist you in making these projects.

Fusing and Slumping CD-ROM, $59.95. A hi-tech, beautifully done CD-ROM, learn about fusing & slumping on your computer. The graphics and glossary are well done. There are a lot of computer requirements you must have to make this thing work.

New Patio Stone Accessory

Diamondcrete Plug, $24.95. Insert the plug before pouring your Diamondcrete, let it set, and then when you pop it out of the mold, remove the plug, and there is a space for a candle recessed in the middle of your patio stone.
