Congratulations to the Chicago Blackhawks on winning the Stanley Cup over the Philadelphia Flyers, in six games, in overtime! Now go shave off those beards and get some golfing in before the season starts again in a couple of months. There might be a lot of new babies in Chicago in the next few months named "Dustin" or "Duncan" or "Patrick". That now of course leaves the Toronto Maple Leaves as the hockey team that has not won the Cup for the longest time, since 1967.

We have been trying out a new soldering iron, a Hakko, made in Japan. It runs hotter, but uses less power. It comes with a 3/16" ceramic tip and heats to 1100F degrees. So far, we have been very impressed with it on the copper foil projects and repairs that have been on our workbench. We still want to try it on a lead came panel. We have gotten feedback from friends in the industry who have been impressed with the Hakko. It has been suggested that we use a regulator to turn down the temperature level.
