Today is June 30th, the last day of the month. Tomorrow is July 1st, Canada Day. We will not be here. We will be back on Friday, July 2nd and Saturday July 3rd. Our summer hours are now in effect. They have not changed from our spring hours.

On July 2nd, the 13% Harmonized Sales Tax comes into effect. This new tax will have little impact on us, except for our lessons which will be starting up again in September. The one downside for those of you with PST exempt numbers is today is the last day you can use it to not pay the 8% PST. So, if you were thinking of getting some special glass, fancy tools, maybe a kiln, today would be a good time to do that, before it is too late!
