We hope you all survived the March Break. Assuming you did, we have some new stuff to tell you about, and some info about various glass related events around the world.

We were contacted by Luc Lapointe, at 613.899.7239, who was interested in having somebody make him a lot of beads for his restaurant downtown. If this is up your alley, please contact him and fire up your torch!

This is your last notice about attending Glass Craft & Bead Expo in Las Vegas, from April 1st to 5th, at the lovely South Point Hotel. New to this year's show is the International Hot Glass Invitational. Watch world famous glass blowers and lampworkers create glass art in a fast paced competition.

Another popular warm glass show, Hot Glass Horizons, will be held in 2009, but in a new 'Master Class' format, in Newburg, OR. It is the same instructors, but the 3 day classes are to be held on weekends at Fusion Headquarter's studio, two instructors at a time, from April to November, 2009.

We have been in contact with the American distributor of Dyson Shelves. These are the very large one piece extruded batt shelves for use in bigger kilns. If you own an Evenheat 25.41 kiln or any other large kiln, and are interested in having a one piece shelf, please contact us. We are looking at ordering a couple for use here in our studio, and thought if we could open this up to our customers and split the shipping costs, that would make this possible. We aren't sure of the exact costs yet, but the shelves are around $200-$300 US, then plus shipping, tax, etc, etc, etc, so maybe $400-$500 each if we can order 4 or more?
