Just a few things to bring to your attention, during this busy back to school week.

Our Big Stained Glass Lamp and Other Finished Pieces Sale is this Saturday, September 6th, starting at 9:30am. Many of the lamps we have had tucked away, or hanging in the back rooms, really deserve a new home. In the best garage sale tradition, we are looking to move them out. There also will be a box of suncatchers and a box of fused plates, bowls, and candle holders looking for new homes as well. Make us an offer! Go home with some glass art!

Stained Glass News, the popular free stained glass magazine that we get in four times a year, will now be published 5 times a year! January, March, May, September and November. This impacts all of our customers on our SGN subscription list. What we will do is adjust your subscription to account for the extra issue in March. When your subscription is up, and for any new subscriptions, we will have to charge $6.00 plus tax. If you would like to subscribe to get SGN mailed to you, or The Score from the Spectrum Glass Company, please contact us.

Our Fall Contest didn't take long. In less than two hours from when we sent out our newsletter by email, we had a customer find a missing link. No, not Dave, we know he's in a park up north somewhere. Congratulations to Sylvie for so quickly finding a different old page! She won a $100 Stained Glass Stuff Gift Certificate. We will be offering a smaller "runner up" prize for any other missed links on our website. The one she found was not the one we knew about, so there are probably a few more in there somewhere.

There are only a few spots left in Kent Lauer's Thursday, November 13th Faceted Dichroic Pendant class. If you are interested in high end jewelry and/or coldworking, this is the class for you. We have also confirmed the dates for Patty Gray's 2009 workshops here, April 14-16, and 17-20, 2009. They are both starting to fill up. Don't sit on the fence and be disappointed! We are very lucky that Patty makes the trip out to teach here.
