We got in a small amount of a Spectrum Experimental glass, X-OCT at $7.95 a square foot. It looks like one of their new 6000 series. It has a pale purple look to it, and has their ‘CC' texture on the backside.

We have re-stocked our supply of those neat pressed glass shapes. More Feet, Maple Leaves, and other great shapes.

New Books

The Style Handbook, by Stu Goldman, $31.95. A helpful guide to match the style of a house to the appropriate style of stained glass. Elements in the house such as doors, windows and staircases as used as examples to help define a home's style. A very interesting read for anyone who has to go on-site and give ideas.

Flourish, by Lisa Vogt, $25.95, 10 full sized patterns. Each project has the amount of glass required listed. Projects are around 16" by 20".

Favourite Images, by Terra, $25.95, 8 full sized patterns. Each project has the amount of glass required listed. Projects are around 16" by 20".

Glass Patterns Quarterly, Fall 2003, Vol. 19, No.3, $9.95. Most of the projects have a Holiday theme.

Golden Days, by Leslie Gibbs and Laura Tayne, $27.95, 36 pages. A book full of projects of creatures that you'd see in your backyard. The only thing that bothers us in their use of computerized colour projection in the pictures of the "finished" projects. It just doesn't look right.
