6 years in the making, finally finished in October 2001. The windows were very carefully traced onto a resist stuck on the glass. The windows were then cut out with a sharp Olfa knife, and then the glass pieces were sandblasted, then spraypainted with black enamel paint. Thanks to Derek for the use of the scanner to blow up the pattern, Tim for the quick sandblasting, and Chris for the tip on the use of restrip after soldering. |
